Out of curiosity, what happened when the Refs noticed the battery was out? Was the robot disabled? Was the match paused or Stopped and then replayed? (A similar indecent happened in the 2009 Michigan Championships, and the match was stopped and replayed).

I think they got a Yellow card for leaving the bumper perimeter. the match was not replayed. Im not sure if they got disabled
Well the battery appears to be still attached to the robot, so it didn't detach anything and leave it on the field, so I guess that was the right call...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were carded, but the match definitely wasn't replayed. They stopped moving after the incident, though I have no idea if it was disablement or by choice.
Who's the team in the background, on red? The number looks like 2240, but I'm not sure.

Indeed they are 2240. They were playing on red along with 1619 and someone else (can't remember). Blue was 2945, 1332, and someone else.

Eric, TBA has a picture of 2240's robot. It's them for sure.
EDIT: What did I miss by, 30 seconds?
Meh, I'm kind of tired right now. FF missing information is holding up scoring...
I asked because that would pinpoint where two teams were in the bracket and selections.

University of Denver wanted to charge FIRST a ridiculous price for use of the university's campus-wide WiFi from what I hear. Hopefully we'll have it soon.

The fact that they got the Friday info up but not the Saturday info has me curious. Did somebody get onto a different network and post it or something?

on Friday it was not posted until i think around 6 so it was most likely on a different network
When 2945 lost its battery the head offical walked briskly to their driver station and hit the emergency stop button. That's why they didn't move any more with the battery still connected,.

I was the referee that made this call, Interesting, but yes we did disable the robot for safety. It is clearly outlined in the rules to disable the robot. We had to disable two robots on the blue side in this match, the other for having a coach handle the trident. Unfortunately I had to make send both messages to the head ref who ran over to disable both bots. I was the referee that was counting the balls in case the ball counter malfunctioned for this match (and checking the alliance zone violations), but interesting enough I had more action with that then some of the matches when I was a side ref.
