I was wondering which regionals typically fill in the first round of teams choosing regionals. We always pick NJ first because it is our home regional, but we like to have an away regional as well and are wondering which ones fill up quick.

I am not sure which ones fill in the first round but the Chesapeake Regional didn't completely fill this year! It was held in a different location, in the Baltimore Convention Center instead of at the Naval Academy and it was great!!!!

New Hampshire fills very quickly every year. By contrast, Los Angeles typically remains open into the second round.

Silicon Valley Regional is almost always full first week or two its available. Oregon, Las Vegas are not far behind as well as San Diego, and L.A.

I know Peachtree Regional filled up quickly this year due to the increase in rookie teams. I mean, P'tree filled up so fast that some of the local rookie teams didn't get a chance to register at the event.

Here's a graph (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?p=888682#post888682) of when each regional filled up this year.
Take your pick...

That's a great graph, I always thought that the Greater Toronto Regional filled up faster.

Here is the detailed graph for Toronto registration.

They never reached their maximum capacity, so no team was left on the waitlist. Everyone got in who wanted to go.
