Congratulations to all the teams in both the Design & Animation categories. It looks like they've selected 6 teams vs. 5 as in previous years.

Good luck to you all in the final round of judging!

No really, I'm so excited about this. This was my first year as captain of 1515's Animation team, and I'm so proud of our team for putting in so much work. Good luck to everyone at the finals!!

It also says

"Below are the five finalists selected by the professional judges for the Autodesk 3D Design Competition. Click the image to see the complete entry."

They then proceed to post 6 videos...

Team 234 won. Congratulations guys! :]

Thank you! And congratulations to all the finalists! Your designs were really awesome and of such high caliber. It was an honor to be in the running with 342, 75, 357, 1983, and 1414.

Also congrats to 1671. Our team loved your animation! It was one of the best we have ever seen.

A final congratulations to all the teams that received Phil and Will Awards. Those are not to go unnoticed.

Have the Phil and Will awards been posted somewhere ... we were not in Atlanta and didn't get a chance to see the winners.

I don't believe they have been posted. At least, I can't find them. On the 3D design side, I know 234, 1983, and 342 won one of the 5 awards for sure. I can't quite remember for which topics though.

Thanks everyone :)
Our animation team worked their butts off this year. I am very proud of all the hard work they put in.

The winning animation was amazing and adorable! Pixar should be knocking on Team 1671's door any minute now!

And congratulations to Cyber Blue! My team wished that they had taken a few more seconds with your presentation. Showing one CAD image followed by 3-4 photos of the robot from completely different perspectives did nothing to show the audience what made it the winning entry. I'm sure there was a wow factor in there somewhere, but it remained a mystery to us. Are the designs made available so that teams that struggle with this area can learn from the experts?

Yes. If you go here (http://students.autodesk.com/?nd=2010_first_finalists), and login, you can download all the files. There's a ZIP file, a DWF, and a PDF. Also, if you have any specific questions about it, I would be happy to answer them.

I recommend everyone take a look at the PDF especially - It becomes immediately obvious why 234 took home this award. Their documentation is very detailed and it goes further in-depth than any of the other entries in my opinion. Great job Cyber Blue!

Thank you! We're just glad we had the opportunity to share our design process and the implementation of it with the FIRST community. :)

Wow - 1671's animation is awesome. I can see why it won. Great look, animation, audio, timing. They've got real talent on that team!

Has anyone found an Autodesk link announcing the 2 winners? All I can find is the finalists announcement.
