so i get ESPN magazine every 2 weeks. in each issue there is a section at the beginning of the mag that highlights some sporting events that may not quite be in the public eye. I opened up this latest issue, and while reading that section, i noticed, THE FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP'S ARE MENTIONED!!! I got all excited and rushed over to CD. I guess people are really taking notice of FIRST. Ill try to scan it and upload the picture he so you all can see :)

Many of the CDers were recently talking about how we could get the FRC Championships back onto ESPN. At least ESPN hasn't forgotten about us.

Luckily, Andy Baker has all of the ESPN coverage from back in the day on his Youtube channel. Its so awesome to watch FRC matches from ESPN.

See if you guys could get a scan online. Even if it's not a long article, I love reading about FIRST in the news. :)

How about writing an article for ESPN and sending it along to them? If they are like any other periodical, they are hungry for fresh material. Just make the article adaptable to revision for length so they can insert where it fits.

That's AWESOME. For those of you that don't know or have forgotten, once apon a time, FIRST Naitonal's used to be covered on ESPN because it was held in Disney, and ESPN is a Disney owned company. :)

Ok that is frickin sweet that they have our robot on there. I guess my fellow mentor was correct when he chose red for our standard color, it does pop out. LOL
