I have been trying to download videos from Thebluealliance.net , and have been so far unsuccessfull. Does anybody have any suggestions?

what kind of unsuccessful? downloads fail? no videos?

like i click the download button and it like wants my to have Apple Quick time pro, but then on my friends comp that has that, the file that is downloaded is not really a video file :|

I just right clicked on the arrow icon, click "save link as" to save the file to my desktop, then play it with iTunes. (Tried with winamp, but the video didn't show up.)

For me it does not download and plays it in a new tab. I'm running Chrome and Windows7 with the latest versions of most everything.

The links are directly to (often mp4) files. You can do the standard web browser right-click save-target-as thing to save them. If they open in a new tab, you can go file-save to save them.

The videos will play back in Quicktime or VLC without any problems. They are h264 mp4 files for compression and mobile device compatibility.
