As well as a charity food drive, which at the moment is completely up to teams, but more information will come later, there will also be a place to drop off any old electronic items to be recycled.

If you would like to volunteer to be pied this year or would like to nominate someone (please note that in order for them to be pied, we need their consent first), please send a PM or email to Koko Ed.

Thanks all! Only 4 more months!

GG all.
Thanks to all the organizers, as well as all the teams who came! I had a great time, as did the rest of my team, even the rookies. We use Ruckus as a recruitment tool, to get new members to drive our robot, and see how fun FIRST is.

I dont know if I am ever going to forget watching one of the freshman knock a robot over, then ram it. Then hang on the wrong bar. In the quaterfinals. I think we all learned a valuable lesson: Teach people the manual before putting them at the proverbial wheel.

I would apologizes to our alliance partners, though, since I know that some teams dont let noobs drive, so we did kind of kill your chances to get anywhere. And I still don't know how we got third seed, with such awful driving.

Anyways, I hope to see all the teams at FLR, and at Ruckus next year!

That match was actually quite interesting to watch.
We use Ruckus as a recruitment tool, to get new members to drive our robot, and see how fun FIRST is.
That is what FIRST and the ruckus is all about. We do the exact same thing but we also ask them to attend our strategy-drive meetings, read the rules, and fill out a "take home test" on the previous years game.

Anyways, I hope to see all the teams at FLR, and at Ruckus next year!

Don't forget the Rally it's the preseason event we do right before ship :)

I know our team had a great time at the Ruckus this year. Thanks to 1511 for picking us for elims. Thanks to 578 for rounding out the alliance. It was great fun winning with you guys I hope we can work together again this year.

I guess this means 2010 Breakaway is officially over I can't wait for tailgaiting at kickoff 2011. See you there.
