BlackBerry Pearl 8120 help

Ok, so, I know this is loosely related to Robotics, but I figured this would be a good place to see if I can get some tech help. Anyways, my friend has a BlackBerry Pearl 8120, and it gets the white screen of death, thinks, then says restart, then it does it all over again. Anyone know what the problem is, and how to fix it?

- Has he tried reinstalling the latest BB OS using a computer? (its carrier specific)
- Sometimes memory cards can cause similar problems.

I am not sure how long ago your friend purchased his phone, or if he has any warranty. If there is a warranty or any sort of support from the carrier, call them/take it to their shop.
