Looks like Midwest has several impressive out of state teams: 16, 45, 118, 135, 1987, and 2826. https://my.usfirst.org/myarea/index.lasso?page=teamlist&event_type=FRC&sort_teams=number&year=2011&event=il

2791 has signed up for WPI Regional and the Championship Event. WPI looks really exciting (glad to see 121 and 177 pick up the regional) and I think there might be a few good teams at the Championship :P

The TechnoKats decided to go to the Midwest Regional. It's not at the same time as Boilermaker this year! We're also signed up for the Championship.

Why isn't 1732 on that list? Are you signing up as your 2nd regional?

2022 is registered for Midwest and Championship. We have yet to decide on a 2nd regional.
This will be our first time ever at Championship's.
Team 1208 will be attending the St. Louis Regional and the Smoky Mountain Regional.

Team 1723 will definitely be attending KC and possibly St. Louis (if it is in our budget)
Team 1091, Oriole Assualt, will be at the Wisconsin Regional and we're considering the Midwest , plus possibly our first trip to the Championship. It all depends on how our fundraising goes.
We're going to go to FLR and the Championship, as usual.

Yeah, we are planning on attending Midwest in addition to Wisconsin. We wouldn't leave Midwest when we finally have a title to defend :D
Is Wildstang coming back to Wisconsin?

CORE 2062 will attend Milwaukee and is hoping to get into Midwest.
I saw that there are 6 new regionals this year:
1: Colorado (unknown exact location)
2: Alamo (San Antonio, Texas)
3: Lake Superior (Duluth, Minnestoa)
4: Smoky Mountain (Knoxville, Tennessee)
5: Seattle Olympic (Seattle, Washington; split from Seattle Cascade)
6: Greater Toronot East (Toronto, Ontario; split from Greater Toronto West)
and three cities are hosting double regionals:
1: Minneapolis (like the last two years)
2: Seattle
3: Toronto
It's great to see FIRST is expanding so much. I wonder how many rookie teams there are from outside North America this year

LA, and if we can afford a second one this year, it would probably be San Diego or Las Vegas, but LA is for certain

We might as well include district events in here as well.
573 is registered for Ann Arbor and we're excited. We are looking to defend our title. We are also wait listed for Kettering. We believe we have enough skill to make it to the Michigan State Championship again as well. Lastly, chances are that we will just miss the pre-registration for St Louis, so we're planning on working hard so we can qualify for CMP.
1922 Oz-Ram will be at BAE in NH. Not sure about the second one yet.

It's Palmetto and Peachtree for 2815 this year. Championship if we get in the hard way.

Team 2470 is attending the Minnesota 10,000 Lakes Regional again this year! Unlike last year, we actually have funding for the championship, so we will also be traveling to St. Louis, MI this April!
Now since this hasn't been officially announced to the team yet, lets hope I am the only one who reads these forums! :)

Smoky Mountain looks like it will have a healthy number of veteran NASA grant applicants already. :)

Our team is hoping that we can find a spot in the 3rd week of sign-ups unless Champs is full up before we can sign up in the 2nd week, then we will still try to sign up for SMR
1189 will be at Western Michigan and Livonia this year. We had originally signed up for Kettering, but were waitlisted. The team leaders made an executive decision to go to Livonia instead, so we don't have to worry about conflicts with state testing.

The N.E.W. Apple Corps will be attending the WI regional again. As for our second regional, it's TBD, but I do know that Minnesota is favored.
See everyone there!

Armada Robotics, FRC 2508, registered for the Minnesota 10000 Lakes Regional Today!!!
We are also deciding wither or not we are going to register for a second regional. Our top choices for a second regional are the Lake Superior Regional and the Wisconsin Regional.

2815 at Peachtree, this should be fun.
1261 is signed up for the Knoxville Regional, and we'll be signing up for Peachtree soon. Unfortunately, due to Palmetto's relocation, the Knoxville Regional is closer, and at a much more manageable week.

We are really looking forward to making some new friends and playing at a very competitive regional. Can't wait!
This is probably the best year you guys could have come down, unless you came years before, because they just extended the life of the NASA program another year so you guys might get to see a shuttle launch :D

Team KAOS will be going to the new San Antonio regional - Alamo, week 1, then Lone Star, week 3, and maybe one of the Dallas regionals, week 6.
Can't wait for San Antonio! :)
The Digital Goats (829) will be in the lovely Smoky Mountains and at Boilermaker. Hoping for the championships.
Rolling Thunder (1511) has selected its away regional to be Washington D.C.
Looking at the teams registered so far for that regional, we may be creating an announcer's nightmare in doing so! For the first time, Rolling Thunder will be playing with Rolling Thunder Robotics (Team 2421). We've played with lots of "Thunders" through the years (ThunderChickens, Truck Town Thunder, Thunder Down Under), but this should be way more interesting! :D
So you can feel the pain of the CyberCards (1529) and CyBearCats (1000) - both at the Boilermaker Regional.
When we went to WMR in 2006, we were called CyberCarps, CyberCats, and CyberClams by the announcer. We can only hope he was being facetious.

Right now we're locked in for Philly and pretty sure we are going to New Jersey as well. I am really excited to play in a Week 1 event to truly get a feel for the game before the tough competition in Philly. Hopefully, we get a W from one or the other.

We haven't decided on our 2nd regional yet. Wisconsin is one that we're considering though. After all, we have to defend our 2nd round departure, or was it 1st round

2530 is going to check out the inaugural Lake Superior event, and also make our first trip as a team to Championship (assuming the funding magic happens). It was hard to decide not to go back to Wisconsin this year, the team loves that event, but it's the same week as Lake Superior and we felt we needed to support the new in-state event. We'll miss seeing all our friends in Milwaukee.
Looks like I will also be back at 10,000 Lakes as LRI for another year. The team will probably not do a second regional, as that week is spring break and we can never get enough students.

Looks like we picked the wrong regional... We could have had a full "Thunder" alliance!!! :ahh:
In addition to competing in Florida, 341 will be going to our home regional in Philly. The best regional on the PLANET!! (IMHO)

Team 20 is excited to compete at Granite State and the first FIRST Championship in St. Louis in 2011! We will also be going to a second regional, but we haven't come to a decision on which one yet. While we all enjoyed going to WPI week 2 last year, the 2 in a row was taxing for our what-will-have-to-pass-as lives for both the students and the mentors.
