I just noticed this link on the FIRST FRC homepage - don't know how long it has been there and I didn't find any discussion on CD

Has there been any promotion of this from FIRST? Nothing in the email blasts.

It was more than a year ago, so a bit hard to locate unless you already knew it was there.

I believe he was specifically talking about the global online "town hall" on Wednesday that Dean and other national science leaders are participating in (hosted by CaMM). Which as far as I know hasn't been publicised by FIRST, but I have been hearing about it for a couple weeks.

Connect a Million Minds is a pretty cool initiative that has partnered with FIRST, and I'd encourage people to check out their website and operations.
