Hello everyone,

I am a member of FTC team 2827 from North Carolina, and we recently traveled up to Maryland to watch their state tournament. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the winner was announced. We did see all of the finals matches, and heard the final score was 52-50. I was wondering if anyone who was also at the tournament could fill our team in on what exactly happened in the finals matches, and who won? If you know who won the inspire award, I'd love to hear that as well.

Thanks,

Ryan

well we where the team captain the got the 50 points and under the sun got the 52 points and won the last match and we got back on at the last minuet after our robots Samantha kept getting rammed and it was on the inside of our robot and broke but no one got a penalty for it so we redid the match and hardly fixed our robot and got back on but it was a Great show thats for shore and G-Force got the Inspire award.

Thanks for the reply Derrick.

It was a great finals, too bad your team didn't qualify this time around, I'm sure you will if you get a chance to go to another tournament. You guys have a great bot, and executed a very good strategy. Hope to see you at worlds in April!

As 4240 already mentioned, the winning alliance was led by FTC Team 2843, Under the Son. We would also like to thank our alliance partners FTC Team 3113 The Craftsmen from Ellicott City, MD and Team 7 the Techbrick Tactical Sheep from Forest Hill, MD. We would also like to thank the members of the Patuxent First Alliance and the many other teams who helped us with scouting, cheering, and supplying us parts when our conveyor system broke in one match and when we smoked a motor in another match. Their gracious professionalism was amazing.

Also congratulations to 4240 for fielding an impressive robot (especially for a "rookie" team) and making the finals very interesting.

Thanks to everyone for a good competition.

Yeah all 6 teams put on a great show and if you can find any they are awesome! but our robot is kinda beat up so now we need to fix that and then off to Delaware and and its about having fun, doing the best you can, and Not winning at all costs. Great job teams!

WOO! You guys are on your way to Worlds! we have to wait till February to go to our Championships SC and TN. But we hope to see you there! I won't be driving with Logan this year like we had last year were passing it on for a chance at FRC, but we hope to do well!

We plan on competing in the North Carolina and Kentucky regionals. Luckily, they take place on February 16th and 23rd, respectively, so we have about 10 more weeks to finish up our robot. Hopefully we'll see you all at worlds again!

I'm horrible at paying attension to things but I glad to see we'll have our other GForce team there. xD we still need to play against each other so the announcer can go what??? They already had us confused last year.
