I Cannot Create Project

I have labveiw installed with all the updates and I cannot get Labview to create a cRio project. It tells me that one of the files, Dashboard Datatype.ctl, is missing from the directory where it should be creating my project. If anyone knows what is going on please help me.

Are you sure that the folder location that you chose has read/write access? (IE. not read-only) Can you open projects from previous years on the offending computer/LabVIEW?

this might help. this is the update needed for download and it will give you all of the pre-made codes.

(if you dont have an ni.com account, make one its free and you will be able to download it all)

I have done the updates, and I just found I tried opening a project that was created on another computer and that wouldn't open either.
