Running 2010 Java program on the Classmate 2011 Image

Our team would like to continue having a functional 2010 robot however, the Classmate must be reimaged for 2011 software. If we save the 2010 Java program, will we be able to successfully use this program on the 2011 Classmate Control Station? Has any team tried to run their former code?

You *should* be able to.

Haven't tried it yet, though.

If you do run into problems, they should be minor and pretty easy to fix.

Some students ran our 2010 robot today using the 2011-imaged Classmate as its driver station computer. The joysticks were scrambled, and none of them knew that they could be rearranged easily in the DS application, but they were able to drive it.
