Male Adapter for Window Motor (left/right)

Does anyone know where we can find the male adapter for the Window Motor (left/right). It wasn't included in the Rookie KOP's.

Mark, I don't think the male adapter is in the original KOP's. We already did inventory and everything is accounted for.

If I recall correctly, there hasn't been an adapter in the KOP for the window motors or many of the motors.

What I have done in the past is take a pair of plier cutters and chip away at the plastic to get the metal leads to have the electrical team solder wires onto them. Or you could use a small hand saw and do it that way carefully.

I thought you meant the mechanical coupling for the output.

If you meant the electrical connector, then what Alex said.
We don't usually remove the plastic cover, but we do solder and heat shrink the connection.

thank you both for replying so quickly! It helped. Still, wonder "why" the KOP's didn't include the adapter? Oh well, we'll proceed accordingly.

If you want to actually use a connector then use a Delphi 280 Connector, Delphi model number 12129487. This can be found on Mouser Electronics with this part number: 829-12129487. Delphi lists this connector as being used typically in Window Lift Motors. My team used this connector last year and they fit perfectly in the motor, and wouldn't allow for accidental disconnection.

The terminals for the connector vary depending upon the wire size you use, the complete listing of the terminals can be found here (http://connectors.delphi.com/DCSGDMCS/DCS/Catalog/PartDetail.aspx?vUser=GuestUser&vFlag=P&vList=Y&vExact=0&txtPartNum=12129487) under the "Related Parts" tab. Then take the Delphi part number and search Mouser for it to find the terminals on there.
