Hello,

reading the pdf "How to Configure Your I/O Module" available at the kit of parts section of the FIRST website, they tell us to

5) In the top left of the tool bar, you’ll see a blue folder icon. Click the folder, browse to where you saved FRC_IO.v1.hex, and select the FRC_IO.v2.hex file.

but I could not find such files to download anywhere.
does anybody knows where to get them?
thanks!

It was installed with the driver station update in the <public documents>/frc folder.

Also, for anyone interested in modifying the firmware for the I/O module, remember that the source code is available at FIRST Forge (http://firstforge.wpi.edu/sf/frs/do/listReleases/projects.wpilib/frs.cypress_driver_station_i_o_firmw). It's been quite a while since Bill's blog stated that it was open sourced (http://frcdirector.blogspot.com/2010/07/survey-results-part-iii.html#links).

I just had an even more elementary problem.
The PSoC programer doesn't recognize the IO board.
Just below the Port Selection, where it should appear, it is blank and I can't get it to appear there.
I believe the driver is not installing correctly.. Is there a driver file anywhere so I can install manually?

The driver is installed with the Driver Station Update.
