I'm having some trouble adding the files i downloaded from Autodesk's website to Inventor. You anyone help me out with where I should put all the extracted files?

Just put a folder labeled KOP inside of the folder you are saving your project. I keep all the sub folder hierarchy but you don't have to if you don't want to.

No idea how/if you're planning to share files, but be sure to create a project file. My team is in its second year and a few of us decided to use Inventor to model a couple basic parts. We've been sharing files through Dropbox, but recently discovered that w/o a project file Inventor seems to want an absolute instead of relative file path. Maybe somebody can confirm this or has a better suggestion for file sharing.

Is there a way to add the KoP to Content Center? Once again, I'm new to Inventor, but it seems like there's advantages to having the parts in Content Center. For example, adding chain seems like it can only be done with Inventor's built-in library unless you want to put each link together that comes in the KoP.

Thanks for the link. However, when I click it, it asks me to login. After I do, it brings me to another login window. I log in again, then it tells me I'm already logged in.I click Continue, to stay logged in, whereupon it brings me back to another log in window... arrrgh...
