Compressor Sides

The air compressor has 2 output holes to attach the rest of the pneumatics system to. Is there any function difference between the outputs?

Nope, no difference. One side should have the plug valve which must be directly connected to the compressor according to the rules and the other side should have the rest of your pneumatic system.
