Minibot wheels (not from the FTC kit)

Hello ChiefDelphi!

i was wondering... can i use other wheels on the Minibot except the wheels from the FTC kit??

for example - Lego Wheels.

Are they on the allowed Minibot material list in The Robot section of the manual? Are they fabricated out of materials on the allowed material list?

If either of these is yes, they you can use them. If not, then they are not legal.

From the way I have read the rules. I think you can make them out of listed materials.

Lego parts are not part of the allowed materials list for the minibot, sorry.

In the linked thread on the First Forums, please be advised that the forum threads and the official Q&A are two different things. The Q&A is the only official answer and comes directly from the GDC. The First Forums are simply another place to exchange information exactly like Chief Delphi. Even my answers on the First Forums are opinion, the same as here. I am not part of the GDC, sorry.
