Minibot Switches

Are the switches that we got in the Minibot kit from FIRST Choice the only one that we can for the Minibot or can we use other types of switches.

Do the allowed limit switches have to be physical switches or can they be electronic (infrared, etc.)?

A limit switch is anything marketed as a "limit switch".

Please read <R92>. Specifically, <R92-M> and <R92-N>. You may also be interested in <R92-A> and <R92-BB>.

Short version: You can use other switches. The rules I referenced tell you what types are legal.
