Wow... Can I have 2? Love how you guys tied in the handles into the frame.

Are those connector thingys from the outer perimeter to the center (could someone please enlighten me on what they are called?) a little small, will they be able to support the weight?

They will be able to support the weight! The supports are chamfered so they appear narrower then they are. And I believe that it is a 3/8" plate. Also the picture seems to have been taken at a slight angle which might play some tricks on your eyes.

SWEET!
I always wondered how much loctite it takes to make a frame with so many standoffs.
Can't wait to see it at KC!

Any reason you guys kept all the material at the top and corners?

(edit: woo 4000 posts - kinda sad eh)

You guys wanna make a couple that say "Metal Mustangs" on them and send them to 7501 W 149th Terrace Overland Park, KS 66223? :)

But seriously, awesome work! I like how shiny it is.

Their team name is "Railer Robotics". They just combined the R at the end of Railer with the R at the beginning of Robotics.

It's spelled RaileRobotics, but pronounced Railer Robotics. It has been this way for 10 years now. I'd say there is no grey area. ;)
