We were planning on programming on a seperate computer, but the version of labview is missing the WPI Robotics Library functions. Is this on an update, and if it is how do I install the update?

You need to read the directions on the Kit of Parts (http://www.usfirst.org/frc/kitofparts) web page. The specific document you want is Getting Started with the 2011 Control System. Don't overlook the part about installing the updates on pages 3 and 4.
