We've had problems in the past with Wedge Top too. The solution we used was to insert #10 screws through the tread and into the wheel. Make sure the screw heads do not penetrate the tread or tear a larger hole and you should be good.

Drill and rivet each end of the tread to those Plaction wheels and you will have zero problems.
Are those this years plaction wheels with the wire conveyer belt connectors?

Drill and rivet each end of the tread to those Plaction wheels and you will have zero problems.
We also throw a rivet in approximately 180* from where the tread meets, just in case one of the retaining groves in the wheel gets damaged.
Nice test drive! We use the screw method with thread brass inserts for the plaction wheels. Works great and makes for an easy switch-out. Description (http://wiki.team1640.com/index.php?title=AMTreadMountsPage)
