Hey everyone! Today we attached our scissor lift and gripper. It looks pretty awesome on top of the robot :D

that looks a lot lighter than what we came up with, will it reach the top?

also how stable is it, that was the main reason we didn't use a scissor lift was we thought it would rock back and forth too much.

There isn't rocking, it bounces up and down a tiny bit if you jerk it really fast. And its REALLY light. It goes up to about 11 feet so its goes too high.

Haha thanks! If we were a German Highschool witthout a doubt! But we are not and the team would never fly with that. Our motto on TIMS is "Exterminate!" as you probably could have guessed :P

Impressive! I love the linkage arm and the gripper claw.

Looks great! I'm always concerned when I see a team using a scissor lift, because they are so hard to get just right -- but yours seems to work great, so good on you!

I will be posting video of it soon. It works AMAZINGLY. We powered it up for the first time today.
