Ponder on that topic
if its art..we can do mysterious and metaphorical representations that need not be explained

but we do explain

and when we do..we ruin the art

slight problem

So if I drew a picture of a man, and I tell someone "This is a man", it is no longer art?

I say art.

It doesn't have any of that mystical
possibly romantic or modernist/impressionist sense of art anymore
it ruins the effect
if we had mona lisa...and da vinci drew a first logo on it...it would just ruin the art no?

or a detailed scene of pastoral nature, and then we put a solar panel or powerplant in the middle...ruins it.

Depends how you use it. Use animation to model something scientifically or to display something graphically. Call it what you want. :)
