Mini Bot: Vex or Tetrix?

We are trying to build the mini bot but we have a question because I can't find the answer anywhere else are we able to use vex parts rather than tetrix parts? if you can provide a link that states this that would also be GREAT!:ahh:

Please read the the manual before asking ::rtm:: .
<R92> states exactly what items and materials are allowed on the minibot. All other items and materials are not allowed. You may only use Vex parts if they fit with one of the criteria for items. Most of them do not.
