Minibot Deployment Questions

We would like some clarification on the rules regarding the deployment of the minibot.
1. Are we able to extend any part of our host bot over the tower base before the last 10 seconds, even without touching the tower base?
2. Are we allowed to touch the pole with anything before the 10 seconds?
3. Are we allowed to touch the tower base before the final 10 seconds?

During Teleop:
<G17> HOSTBOTS may not DEPLOY a MINIBOT. Violation: TOWER is disabled.

You can contact the tower before 10 seconds. Just make sure the minibot doesn't cross, or the referees will probably call that deployment and disable the tower.
