The code for the line tracking was made completely from scratch. The line tracking is with out Prototype/ practice bot.
The MINIBOT is final design testing out the launching mechanism prototype.
The MINIBOT battery is NOT fully charged. we also have ideas about how to make it even faster (besides charging the battery :P)
ENJOY!

nice job with the minibot! How heavy is it? 4.5 seconds isn't bad (that's what i got based off the video) What's your goal time for getting it up?

The goal is to get up in just over 3. The vid had a half charged battery and we for ideas for spead increases. Robot is simple with not one line of code to get it to go up or come down. One phnumatic cylinder for the deployment. Simple is best :D
I've been curious, when the robot approaches the Y point what do the line sensors see? Are all three of them on, just two? We haven't had time/room to lay out and tape the lines.

Nice job on the Minibot!
I noticed that your Y is not the proper shape. It has a short line at the end parallel to the beginning and a "T" perpendicular to that. You should correct it and see if it still works.

The sensors are very close with a small tolerance on both sides of tape. When it reaces the Y all 3 are on the tape. It then continues through to NONE on and proceeds to pivot on its self until a sensor reads then continues line tracking code. (which i totally re wrote)

I am not 100 % done with the code. Still have arm to program in and the Y will be layed out in fyll soon. Amd for anyone testing duct tape works like the reflective tape does to stay cost efficient.

Pretty cool looking minibot, very similar in design to ours. I was wondering if you had modded gearboxes or not?
Thanks!

No gearboxes at all. It is a direct drive.
