Loved the pushing of the cardboard box with what appeared to be bubblewrap in it instead of a box of batteries.

Looks great, good luck!

Thanks everyone for complements.

For anyone that is in Houston. If you want to see the DiscoSlide in person before the Alamo Regional, we will be at Reagan High School on Saturday & Sunday for the annual Houston FIRST build scrimmage.

great looking arm and drive train. how much is the video sped up by?

Cool bot, just saying, might want to put the bars a little closer together, deflated tubes are a pain to pick up, but it will happen, and the drive train is familiar, did u ever see last year's triangle bot?

Its 1:1 speed, the robot turns really fast. That is with 75% limited turning max speed.

We scrimmaged with other Houston teams today and post about 17 second tube scoring times for the high rack.

I'm assuming your talking about team 1501 , team Thrust

We definitely watched their videos and were inspired by their design last year.

unless im completely mistaken, the students in the video are either really twitchy from a video frame-rate increase or a hell of a lot of coffee..

Ok I'll come clean; it is sped up a bit. The student that produced this thought it made for a better parity video. I am not entirely sure but I think it might have been 130% and that was also before we were really controlling the robot well.

meh, no need to justify it, it just seems silly to claim such a thing. not a trivial matter at all.

p.s sweet robot, seems like a lot of you texans have stellar bots!
