I wonder how many surprising human players will show up at Traverse City chucking tubes like a pro.

I think that human players should practice as much as possible, because IF they choose to throw, they better be precise and powerful.

Sneaky sneaky, you sped it up a bit.
Still a good robot though.
Wow. Very nice job. You should feel proud of that manipulator.

Nope, we did not speed up the video. Shane had it on stopwatch for 25 seconds, that was our goal.
Can't wait until competition!
Throw in about ~10 seconds per tube for traversal and that's your worse-case scenario time-wise. Very impressive.

Actually... we didn't. I was just looking at my stop watch
I think people are talking about the actual video - it looks like it's being fast forwarded. I thought the same thing too.
But if that's raw footage (ie no effects applied) I'm really impressed. You guys are going to dominate TC.

I promise you, this is raw footage. Shane looking up and down does give the illusion of speed. We were aiming at 25 seconds, as time went on we were cutting close, therefore the fast up-down motion. Try looking at other people in the backround, they are moving at normal speed.

the fast camera movements in the beginning also make it look sped up.
I trust you when you say its not however, pay close attention to the speed of the tubes wobbling on the pole after they have been placed.
Thats one fast manipulator.
