Coudl you not have your lift go up while you start going forward so you have time to do things like turn the robot around and prepare for teleop?

After their success last year and their very advanced robot in '09 (basically 233's with a crab drive...it was a great robot, but not for the game), I didn't need this youtube video to keep an eye on 706. I hope we get the chance to play together this year.

That looks great! Good job you guys! Seems like it would be very reliable. My advice would just be to make sure you get your distances measured really well so that we you get on the field you aren't coming up short. Anyway fantastic job!:)

We won't be coming up short. We use a sonic range finder to stop us at the proper distance.
