Re: surplus team funds at USFIRST

If a team has surplus donated money at USFIRST, the team can apply for those funds to be passed through (re-granted) to the team. But my question is: can a team let those funds sit safely at USFIRST to be used in the following season?

I'm sure the answer is well known, and I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes," but I can't seem to locate any definitive statement on this point.

Yes you absolutly can do this. We have done this several times over the last five years. Our school takes any money we have left over at the end of their fiscal year and roles it into some general slush fund......So if we have anything left over which has happened from time to time we send it to FIRST and they credit us accordingly
