We have are in a bit of a sticky situation, and we were hoping you could help us! We are trying to buy a new FIRST cRIO, but are running into some issues. We found the link to purchase a cRIO (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/206678) but there doesn't seem to be anyway to actually buy it. Has anyone else run into this issue? And, if so, how did you resolve it?

In addition, does anyone have a spare cRIO they don't need in March that you would be willing to lend? We will pay to get it to Australia and back to where your team is based. If you can, please let us know ASAP by replying to this thread or PMing me!

Did you call the number listed on that page? That's how you order a cRIO.

Ok...does anyone want to sell a used CRio (that works) your club may have laying around?

Considering that the last time someone tried to sell a cRIO, it went for more then $750, it makes more sense to order it directly from NI for $750. http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87770

If you still need a CRIO my team has a spare one they could sell to you for $600. Let me know if you are still looking for one.

In the past you could not get the discounted price except during the program year (Starts in Sept?). The last time we ordered one, you had to do it by phone & it needed to be one of the primary contacts for the team.

The last time we ordered one was 2011 the phone number then was 1-866-511-6285.

The cRIO you have linked is the FRC cRIO-I. Isn't that out of production and replaced with the 4-slot cRIO-II?

The original post was from 2011, I think they found a cRIO, we can probably leave this thread alone...
