Classmate Handle Annoyance

Has anyone had problems with and/or removed the handle from the Classmate?

It's only held on by two screws, but you have to disassemble a good portion of the Classmate before you can get at them. Not for the faint of heart and something you do at risk of breaking the laptop.

We haven't removed our handle, because it's convenient when not attached to the driver station.

Hmm. It currently is in a position to block the functioning of a driver station component, but we'll find a work-around.
