Hey folks,
Updating my data from Friday I've put it together in a nice pretty PDF (with two graphs and everything): Click Here - PDF Link (http://joekavanagh.com/FIRSTData/LogoMotion%20Week%201%20Scoring%20Breakdown.pdf)

Here's the gist for those who don't want the PDF:
-Minibots are important (If a minibot had been scored the Alliance that did so would have won 229 of the 271 matches without a recorded minibot score)
-Scores are going up (that's the No Duh! Statement of the day for those playing along at home)
-Scoring even on the bottom pegs is important due to the number of Alliances scoring less than 10 in qualifying matches.
-Even if Week 2 Regionals are at the level of Saturday of Week 1 (doubtful) Minibots will still be very important.

TL;DR: Work on your minibot.

Let me know if you have questions or if there are other derived stats I can put into this for the future. I can't tell you how many tubes were scored or on what levels, all I've got is the final scoring information for each match.

Thanks for giving the numbers.

Seeing the stats on minibots confirms for me, the idea that to be successful a team should deploy a minibot and play good defense or help in scoring tubes somehow. Less than 50% of qualification matches could have been won if an alliance deployed a minibot if I am reading the numbers correctly.

yeah, it looks like with the 2 winning minibots and 25 pts, you would be only 55% likely to win an elimination round.

It's important to note that an alliance CAN score 108 points without any minibots, a rather large score compared to the average in Week 1.

44.87% of matches has no recorded minibot score (please note the word recorded in that sentence - if the refs had to manually enter the minibot score it would register as a no minibot score on my records)

84.50% of matches with no recorded minibot score would have had a different winner if the losing Alliance had played a minibot.

Playing a minibot (any minibot that would make it to the top of the pole in the time limit) would have resulted in the losing team winning 37.91% of all matches.

Simply scoring 30 points (the value of being the only minibot on the board) would have won 91.81% of Fri AM matches, 84.58% of Fri PM matches, 82.47% of Sat AM matches, and 37% of Elimination matches (assuming you were facing the Alliance that lost in those matches).

Awesome breakdown of the first week. Will be a great help when judging the performance of a bot/alliance.
