Kettering University and FIRST

I am a junior in high school and a second year FIRSTer. I am planning on going to Kettering University and have heard a lot about a lot of FIRST students there. I was wondering how big of an influence FIRST has on the school, and what the school does for those FIRST students. Just curious, thanks! :)

FIRST Students make up at least 15% of class of students entering Kettering.
Kettering supports 5 Michigan FRC teams directly, but students mentor probably a dozen or more teams (I can name a half dozen off the top of my head).
Kettering offers $22,500 to winners of a FIRST-specific scholarship, and this is not one or two winners, but many. Kettering has awarded over $1 million in FIRST Scholarships.
Director of External Affairs Bob Nichols (see him talk about FIRST here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm_oRUfTdfM), while at CMP 2010) is the driving force behind Kettering FIRST and the Kettering District Competition.
