I would say that uber-tube counts as an assist :P

At about the 30 second mark a white tube rolls down half of the field, hits an uber-tube, then bounces and hangs it self on the bottem right peg of the left scoring grid.

Very funny. Glad you caught that on video! Was that planned? :P

This is a bit off-topic, but...
Someone needs to remind the referees that the purpose of those nice flags that they're carrying is that they can wave them in the air, notifying the drivers, crowd, and other refs that there has been a penalty. I've seen way too many videos showing refs, like the one in this video, doing nothing of the sort...

I've noticed the same thing. Next regional just request to your head ref that the refs need to raise the flags above their heads waving them and point at the offending robot instead of just wiggling them around.
I noticed it at the end of breakaway, seemed like the refs got tired of raising their flags every time a team went on top of their ball or extended outside their frame perimeter for too long. Breakaway had a lot of tedious, easily repeated penalties that I know I wouldn't want to go through all the trouble of calling like normal.

Are you serious?! That is awesome. I need to show this to my team. And I do agree, some of the refing I've seen needs to be a bit more visual and acknowledged.

You mean Logomotion doesn't have the dreaded G32 or G33? :D

It's not my video... someone else posted it noted the three supposed red flags during autonomous (or at least penalties) and I happened to notice the score. My guess is that perhaps no one noticed it until I did in the video, (even the human player and his driver/coaches on his alliance) because you have to follow the tube for several seconds.. Most people watching a match are focusing on one thing for maybe a second or two and then moving on to look at something else, or in the case of the human player, grabbing another tube.

Holy cow. I had a feeling that sometime during logomotion that this would happen. Wow...Simply wow...
