Hey there!
Our team had a few questions regarding the food at the event.

1. Will there be food allowed in the dome from outside sources?
2. Will there be food sold inside the dome?
3. What types of restaurants are nearby? Any thing from 5-star restaurants to McDonalds.

If you could help us with this, that would be great.
Hope to see you there!

I don't know about the convention center, but my guess would be that in the Dome, they will sell food, but like someone said, for an arm and a leg. I have checked with a few resources that have been to this area before for another student event and this is what they suggested that is roughly near by

TGI Fridays
a Hardees
a Panera Bread (but they call it St. Louis Bread)
an Irish Pub (The Dubliner)
B & T Pizza

If you can walk, the entire gamut of restaurants is nearby. Chain, fast food, slow food, local, you name it.

Venue food is decent too--if the carts are out in the America's Center. Those are something like $5; the stationary places are stadium prices.

It's just another fast food burger type of place.

Hardees is owned by the same company as Carl's Jr. It's pretty much only found east of the Rocky Mountains.

It's not the same, though. It has different burgers.

It's the same company as Carl Jr.'s and pretty much the Midwestern name for the chain.
