Bedford Express would like to thank Livonia Churchill High School for hosting the event. It was a great venue! Loved the space in the arena!!!

We would also like to thank T.O.R.C. (2137) and Cold Logic (3617) for joining us and making our alliance so strong! It was great working with all of you. Awesome teamwork there! Not even the lack of a few gears could stop us! Thanks 2137 for working together to pull those pesky parts off and get our bot running again! Was a little scared driving without those two motors and going into those finals matches minus part of our drive system and with our back up mini-bot, but we all pulled it off! B.L.T.!!! You both are GREAT teams to work with and we really enjoyed getting to know you all!!! 3617 - Hope your drive tonight was fast, and that you make it home safely tomorrow! You were both of our first pick and we were so happy you weren't taken when it got back to us! You really chipped in for us! You built a strong robot and played clean all competition! 2137 - SEE YOU AT STATES!

To Monroe (1528), S.P.E.E.D.(3542) and the Hurricanes (1941), you put up a tough fight! Great job! Steve (1528), thanks for loaning us mini-bot motors just in case we burnt out another set---even knowing we would possibly be seeing you in eliminations! You truly get what FIRST is about! (we didn't use them because we got our spare mini-bot back when Tecumseh got knocked out though .. but it was good knowing they were there if needed) S.P.E.E.D. we are proud of all you accomplished this year! 3rd highest individual points scored! SWEET!

Monroe County Teams - Way to represent!! All 4 in eliminations and 3 in finals!!

TECUMSEH (3773)! WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Thanks for helping us earn the coopertition trophy(even though you gave us our one loss with our own mini-bot - hehe)! You did a great job this weekend! WOOT Top Rookie Seed!!! It has been a lot of fun working with you this year! You have started a great tradition in your school!

Toledo Tech Fusion(279) thank you for loaning us your mini-bot battery pack when we thought we fried ours! Was much more comforting knowing we had a back up since our back ups weren't allowed because they were last year's models. We miss competing with you and think you need to move your school to Michigan. :) Good luck in Cleveland and we'll have your pack back to you tomorrow (if I wake up)! :)

To my 10 student ambassadors that helped lead dignitaries around, Thank you! Was fun getting to know you all! You all did a wonderful job! Thanks to those 5 teams for loaning two of your team members to the competition for a couple hours!

Thanks to all the judges and volunteers and coordinators that made this weekend run so smoothly, and to all of the teams that participated!

To my little engines that could... BX ...you are definitely ON TRACK and I am so proud of you all!

Congrats, Team 1023

We were thankful to be able to qualify all teams on our alliance, including ourselves, for the Michigan State Championship. I would also like to say that Team 3542 and Team 1941 were the best alliance partners we could ask for. If only we MTR could have gotten our minibot figured out. One more chance next week. An extra congrats to team 3542 for getting their autonomous working. Our scouters said you were the guys for me to pick after that happened, and I have no regrets.

Team 2612 WMD deserves a shout out as well! They turned down an alliance selection because this was their third competition and they did not want to take away points from other teams. That was an amazing example of Gracious Professionalism and other FIRST in Michigan teams should feel honored to be competing with them. Thank you 2612 for displaying such amazing Gracious Professionalism!

This is very true. It was sad that the crowd did not understand why 2612 turned down that pick but it definitely was a perfect example of gracious professionalism giving up your slot so teams trying to earn their way to states could get the points instead! VERY NICE WMD!!!

And thanks to Bedford for great competition in the elimination rounds and choosing 2137 as an alliance partner.

Thanks for choosing a strong rookie team alliance partner in Cold Logic to help us compete. Having family in Grand Marias, and a nephew that is a RA at Northern, gave this alliance member a nice warm fuzzy from Cold Logic.

Good Luck at states and keep them on the rails.

Thanks so much for 2137 and 1023 for noticing our abilities and especially the situation at Livonia for calling on us to fill that niche for you guys. It was a blast playing with you guys and we were ecstatic to hear our number called by your representative on the floor! Word is we are still up in the air on being invited to States, but we'll know shortly. Good luck down there to both of you, I'm sure you'll both be offensive powers to be dealt with. Hopefully our team will be able to show up and cheer you on (maybe even help out)!

You stood out to both of us and we were surprised and excited that no one took you before it was our turn! It was meant to be! :) You all did great!!!!!! We'll keep hoping you make it in to states so we can see you again! Good Luck!!! Hope to see you there!

I totally agree, this was a great display of Gracious Professionalism!

May I suggest that next time, please explain why you are declining the selection.

This will give us (the crowd) the opportunity to properly recognize you for being the Gracious Professionals that you are!

Agreed, and I spoke to them about that, but they thought the announcers were going to. Just think it slipped through the cracks because of the other denials.

I hope it becomes the norm in Michigan so that teams that need the state qualifying points have the chance to earn them. :) Kudos WMD and the team that inspired that at the Niles tournament!
