So for some reason these days I keep dreaming up these crazy ideas :p

But anyways, I figured I would post here and see what kind of reaction I would get and who would possibly be interested in participating before talking to the necessary people.

I was thinking that over the summer we could get some area teams to go to 6 Flags Great America for a day to demo our robots together, each team have some info about FIRST and their team at a tent or something, and basically have a fun day at 6 Flags. I would have to talk to the people there and see if this would be something they would be interested in having, but considering it would be free for them, and would be a cool thing for their crowds, I have a tough time seeing them turn it down, but maybe that's just me. Anyways, so I was curious to see how many teams would be interested in doing this. I figured it is a great way to spread FIRST because there are tons of kids at amusement parks and for the teams, it would be a great recruiting tool and maybe even a fundraising tool.

So what does everyone think?

I would recommend contacting Dan Green. He is very resourceful and helpful to organizing these type of events.

I will definitely hit Dan up about that then. Any contact numbers or email for him?

I love it! And I definately wouldn't have a hard time convincing my team to join. :)

Still figuring out the possibility with my team. Were a little busy getting ready for World...:p

But I'm glad some people are interested in doing it.

And Katie, I'm sure Kelsey would be happy to hear that you guys are interested :p
