Due to a lot of hardwork, and LUCK! Team 2471 -team Mean Machine- won both the Portland and Seattle:Cascade regionals this 2011 season. I was wondering if there were any other teams out there who also took home more than one gold medal as well? My team was just curious to see if there were any other teams who lucked out too? (:

It goes up if you also include the RCA gold medal, I think.

I would just like to note that the RCA is the only gold medal awarded at an event :P

The regional champions are given gold medals as well.

Correct! The main difference is the 'gold' color FRC logo on top of the RCA's trophy vs. silver for the regional champion trophy.

As we decided as awards attendants at the Philadelphia regional, the Chairman's Trophy is "Blinged out". I love that the Chairman's trophy has a gold FIRST logo, making it stand out! :)

Also, sorry guys! Upon closer inspection, I noticed that my champion medal from 09 is, in fact, gold. I guess I'm thinking trophies... :rolleyes:

i know of 1114 won 3 regionals (pittsburgh, Waterloo, GTR east) and 2056 won 3 also ( Finger lakes, Waterloo, GTR West)

i'm guessing that 148, 67 and 217 won more than two also but i'm not sure :)

148 only attended 2 events, they won both.
217 won FLR, Detroit.
67 won MSC, nothing else.
