Roboprom date for friend

My goal for world this year is to try and get my good friend John at date to roboprom and I was hoping someone would be able to help out. He is a great guy but can be somewhat shy at times. Why does he need a date?

Tell him to come and plan on having fun! I suspect that most of the students from most of the teams are coming with friends rather than with a date! I know that's how it is with my team!
