View Full Version : Perfect match?
Have we yet seen a perfect match for any alliance? This year's game has a score cap, has anyone reached it yet? What I mean of course is: 3 ubertubes on top row, ALL pegs covered CORRECTLY, and 1st and 2nd in minibot race. And no penalties. It's a HUGE task, has it been done yet or do I still have to wait for IRI ;)
Does anyone else even think it's possible?? It seems ridiculous, but we have seen a three tube auton, really fast scoring, and plenty of very reliable minibots.

148 1503 and 1538 were 1 uber tube away from the perfect match. They had all 18 tubes, all 6 logos and 1-2 in minibots. they just missed one of the ubertubes. came out to be 146.

I looked it up and that was Match 39 on Newton. Does anyone know where I could find a video of that match?

You'll probably be able to get the video off of the Blue Alliance in one or two years. XD

There was one on Galileo that was really close with 469 and 254, they were only missing two uber tubes
In match 85 on Galileo 254, 111 and 1700 were one ubertube away from a perfect score. The Poofs hadn't yet perfected their two-tube autonomous and missed the 2nd tube. However, it was very close and I wouldn't be surprised if someone pulls it off at IRI.

Anything that doesn't happen in the official competitions will happen at one place: IRI

Actually a PERFECT score would be 6 ubertubes. While this would have to be coordinated, there isn't a rule against it. The other team would have to launch the tubes into your side somehow, then use your nifty camera tracking to grab them.
Make it happen. ;)

you forgot to mention the minbot tie required for the perfect score. unless i remember wrong, the rules say they both get the points for the place they tie for... if it ever happens

People should have fun making minibots that can trigger within 5 ms of eachother...

If it happened on Galileo I would have had it on YouTube in no time at all! (We've been doing the FIRST in Michigan YouTube channel videos all year. It probably wouldn't have been posted there, but it would have been posted on the Team or my personal channel for everyone to see)
