So in my endeavor to have something to do over my summer "Pre-season" break I'm going to be creating in conjunction with the Aiken County Robotics teams a Magic Forum based highly on FTC since such a forum doesn't really exist. The reason why it's the "magic" forum is the groups team name M'Aiken Magic.

The main problem is going to be getting it out to the teams. It's going to based mostly on the robot but we will also have other sub-category's based on public outreach and fundraiser ideas.

The main reason I'm posting this here is because the few of us that use CD know that FTC is not the focus of the forum.

ALSO I HAVE HOPE. If FIRST does not release a way for us to post scores next year I'm hoping to set up a system where teams can enter the scores of regional competitions themselves. If just the finals or high scores we can get a good idea for scouting before CMP.

The SEVERE lack of scouting at this years CMP saddened me. There were teams that were exceptional that weren't even on the radar of the top seeds.

I can help advertise this to teams in FL, I'm pretty sure I know a few other people who would be glad to help as well!

I have been waiting for something like this, but since I don't have the skills to do so I couldn't take it under my wing.

How do you plan on doing the scores do you want them updated as competition goes on or do you want them updated a few days after the fact?

You said this is going to be about the robot, which I love! This year I wanted to see more robots in FTC but people don't really make designs public very often :/ So a robot showcase would be what I would really like to see :D

Otherwise again sounds awesome! Can't wait to see it up!

I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor!
If I remember correctly, there used to be a big forum back when FIRST used the Vex system, but that site is no longer with us. I too have been hoping somebody would do this. Once you have something up and running, Ill be sure to tell the teams around my area! :)
