Websearch Challenge

I have a friend that is looking for a vegetable oil factory in the United States and prefers that it be made from soybeans. I'm not really sure why he is looking for it but he asked me to help. I spent a few hours looking for one online and wasn't having any luck. I told him of the wonders the CD community performs every December when a teaser is released. I figure if any community can find such a company, its the CD community.

Suggest to him that he search for himself on Thomas Register, so that he can broaden or narrow the parameters according to his own needs.

To be honest, I really don't know. I started looking it up as a challenge but at this point see it as more of a learning experience. I figured there's a good way to find such a thing that I don't know. I'm not completely sure what he's planning to do with the vegetable oil but I know he's going to buy alot of it.

I typed soy bean oil into Google search and picked the link for the Soy Bean Oil page of Soy Connection.com, an information site by the United Soy Bean Board. I found a page labeled "Experts," one of whom is a member of QUALISOY QUALISOY is a collaborative effort throughout the soybean industry to help bring enhanced soy oil traits to the marketplace. Formed by the United Soybean Board, QUALISOY is designed to be an independent, third-party resource for information on trait-enhanced soybean oils.
The QUALISOY site has a link to the side that says "Choose your Oil" which links to a page of manufacturers of soy products including soy bean oil.

And I learned something about soy bean oil in the process!
