CT FIRST University Day for FIRST teams in Connecticut will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011. We are looking for presenters to give workshops aimed at coaches for Jr.FLL and FLL teams, and for students and mentors for FTC and FRC teams.

This sounds like a great opportunity. I'm going to check my calendar and see if I and / or 2791 students can't get something together. We're not from CT, but it's been our "home" regional for two years. :)

We welcome proposals from out-of-state presenters so that our home teams have the opportunity to learn from others outside of our area, and to attend the workshops (instead of giving them). :) Abstracts describing your workshop are limited to 250 words.

We've extended the deadline for submitting proposals to August 15. Please consider sharing your knowledge with your fellow FIRSTers and submit a workshop proposal!

For any team looking to form a 501 (c) 3 non profit corporation, and there are many reasons to do so, I will be bringing a lawyer and CPA as co-presenters.

Sue Glasspiegel had emailed me and encouraged me to sign up as a presenter. I submitted a proposal in early/mid-July; do you know when I will hear back about it?

We're still collecting workshop proposals but will be meeting soon to plan the schedule and will reply to e eryone at that time!

I wouldn't have anything to present but I am willing to help anyone with their presentations or just volunteering at the event.

Just submitted to present, please let me know if our topic overlaps with another as we could possibly present on another topic as well.
