Our team mentor and a few district officials missed the video, is there somewhere I can download this?
It would help us very much to promote FIRST in our new district!

I don't think its online yet. I'd be surprised if it isn't posted somewhere eventually, though.

Someone recorded the hour long program for the Michigan championship. Don't really doubt that someone would do the same for this program.

If you look at the comments Britney fiends swarmed to that part like flies to a bug zapper. It's like some zombie flash mob spammed Youtube. Proof positive that FIRST is so very badly needed in this society.

If a few girls (or guys, you never know...) viewed the special with an idea like "I'm only watching this for Britney", then it's their loss. The point of the show was to draw the attention of people who may actually be interested in STEM programs like FIRST and to eventually get them involved somehow, not to convert the masses; However, if they had viewed it with an open mind, maybe there's a slim chance that they would have been drawn into FIRST like the rest of us.
Or, to rephrase that,

Perhaps the comments are a reflection of the results that we get from what we celebrate as a society.
If we want to use the Special as a way to celebrate the importance of STEM initiatives, education, the value of mentoring, and the importance of thinking and problem-solving - then we can do that. What we celebrate is our choice and we have the ability to choose wisely.
