As always, the deadline is nominally Saturday at midnight Eastern.
Go!

Weeks of hard work later and who does the robot hug? The ball.

How many licks does it take to finish a FIRST-sized gobstopper? Well, we might get a water game before that bot gets there...

"What do you mean you forgot to make a release mechanism for the ball!?!?!?!?!?!"
What our friend does not realize is that there is a human catching mechanism on the rear end.

In an amazing display of precognition, Team 376 brings its own green light to the field to help keep rounds running on time. Too bad it didn't work.

Designing a robot to fetch your exercise ball defeats the main purpose of having an exercise ball in the first place.... EXERCISE!!!

Is it just me, or are these stag beetles (http://www.insects.org/ced2/stag.html) getting bigger?
You wanna go back to -infinity, Rotolo? :P
I meant what I wrote in the nicest way possible, but as to your threat, I say "Bin there, done that".

This picture exhibits about as many interesting features as the 2001 game did. Which is to say, not a heck of a lot.

The robot here is shown holding the giant water balloon. Seconds later, the balloon burst and a "water game" was truly born. Most of the bystanders were not amused.

"Ooooo, shiny..."
Feeling intimidated, 376's robot grabbed a giant ball to make himself look taller. His efforts got him picked.

Once there lived a robot so small,
He could not pick up anything at all,
But then his light turned green,
And he tried to be keen,
And grabbed a ball just as this picture was taken.
