Take the controls they said, can't go that badly they said. I beg to differ.

Not even pool noodles and plywood would have helped in this situation.

rachelholladay
10-10-2011, 18:42
We decided to throw ourselves into robotics. Unfortunately, for the car, FIRST is the hardest fun you will ever have. Results shown.

Travis Hoffman
10-10-2011, 19:57
Mark Plant's prior knowledge of crashing a moving thing into other moving things has become rather useful during his NASA Glenn internship, although having experienced the glorious carnage of such collisions firsthand, he does have to resist the urge to hold a demolition derby with their prototype rovers.

S.P.A.M.er 17
10-10-2011, 23:44

Mark: Have you guys seen my keys? I think I left them somewhere around here.

J.Warsoff
11-10-2011, 08:46
Mark, I think we should put the training wheels back on before you go test this thing again.

EricS-Team180
11-10-2011, 09:19

This is why the referees started awarding teams red car(d)s when they didn't follow the rules.

Molten
16-10-2011, 00:35
Don't worry, its ok. The car has the word "safe" wrote on it. Go on about your business.

Karibou
16-10-2011, 11:29
By "minor repairs," they mean duct tape, WD-40, and zip ties. That stuff really DOES work...

Billfred
17-10-2011, 22:56
Apologies for the invocation of the Billfred Is Working Way Too Much Rule--after 10 hours with the team yesterday, I was hosed!
