Team 75 is interested in setting up a forum for our event, Boroblast, and wish to present the business case for it. I've PM'ed and emailed Brandon Martus. No response, so just wondering when Brandon could be available, and if not, who else could help us. We can host a teleconference to discuss. We would also like to assign a moderator to the sub-forums under Boroblast, but don't know the policies CD has around this. More information is kindly requested.
I can PM my contact information if needed.
Thanks a million!

Couldn't a thread in that subforum work?
Edit: Come to think of it, I don't recall there being too much FLL activity on CD over the years. Not sure such a subforum/thread would get a lot of attention on CD.

There are literally hundreds of FLL events each year. If every event requested their own forum, this would be a very crowded site indeed. FRC Regionals don't get their own fora. (First in Michigan and OCCRA got their own sections because the owners of ChiefDelphi, Team 51, are part of those competitions.)
Perhaps you can find some inexpensive software and host the forum on your own team website.

phpbb (http://www.phpbb.com/) is a very good free forum software. It's easy to set up and use, and the best part is the price tag: nothing.

CD will not be creating an additional FLL forum at this time as the current forum is operational and will serve the purpose.
