This is the first year that my team will be attending an official local kickoff event. If I have teacher that would like to attend to learn more about FIRST that is not actually a member of the team, will they be able to get into the kickoff event. I know that I need all of the students and mentors to sign the liability waiver through STIMS/TIMS in order for them to attend. I was planning on just having the teacher sign up through TIMS as being apart of the team; but, I wasn't sure if that was the appropriate way of going about it.

I was also curious to know who other teams have attend the kickoff with them (such as parents, teachers, or others interested in getting involved in FIRST).

With no-team members that I'm trying to get interested in FIRST, I don't have them join the team through TIMS.
I just have them fill out the paper version of the consent form and I doo add them to my total # of people I'm taking to the Kickoff event.

We've brought potential co-worker mentors, parents, and shadowing pre-rookie team leaders with us.
