Hello everyone!
Justin and I are extremely excited to announce that we will be doing a live show from our local Kickoff event in Rochester, NY!

The details-
- The show will be from 9:45-10:15 am EST
- We will discuss more game hints [hopefully ;)], last thoughts about the upcoming season, have one or two interviews, etc.

It is going to be a really unique show, because teams will be walking by us as they enter the auditorium, so it will really be a sight to see!

Big thanks to Ray Ptucha, our local kickoff organizer, for working so hard to make this happen, as well as Kodak for allowing us to use their space and internet!

As always, please email us with ideas/thoughts for the show at MikeandJustinITM@gmail.com!

It is going to be a really fun show, so we hope that you can tune in (or stop by and say hi)!!

-Mike and Justin

While Bill's Blog says it starts at 10:30 am EST, the NASA TV schedule still lists it as 10:00 am EST. Even if the first half hour from 10 to 10:30 is just a presentation of sponsor logos, are kickoffs mandated to watch those for that whole time? If so, you might want to consider moving your webcasting start time from 9:45 to 9:30. Just a thought.

Can't Wait! Only 4 more days!!!

I would assume that's what the first half hour is, but odds are the kickoffs way of mandating you to sit through it are just allowing you to sit in the auditorium while it plays. They also could show various FIRST promos-just a thought. I don't think it'll interfere with their broadcast. Similar to, say, before opening ceremonies, where the logos are on screen, but you're allowed to be wherever you want, ie. in the pits.

Yea, I'll be watching. Won't get any sleep on FIRSTmas Eve, so I'll be on for the show. Wish I was making the drive to ROC to watch kickoff at Kodak again, but there will be a robot that needs designing at 174 headquarters.

I wish I could make Kickoff this year, or I'd come hang out with you guys. Have a great show and I look forward to watching kickoff at a later time... Or just the animation.

We didn't get to pick the time- that time slot is what we were given [so we'll take it! ;)]

Exactly. The first half hour of their broadast is usually filled with a sponsor video loop, and/or NASA TV footage. So we'll be done in plenty of time to catch the real broadcast. Also, even if they do start early or whatever, all of the teams will be in the auditorium at that point, so they won't miss anything.

We hope some of you that are not going to a local kickoff can get up a little earlier and tune in to the show! And those that are at local kickoffs can tune in on your laptops and smartphones! It's gonna be a lot of fun!!!!

Or you could have the people in charge of doing the webcast at where ever you are watching the Kickoff tune in to the FRCTop25 broadcast on the big screen ;).

Thats what i was wondering. You guys should see if you could get a hold of Dave Lavery and ask him to see if you guys can get on the NASA Channel before the kickoff starts; kinda like what the NFL does with the pre-game show. But this wouldn't only be up near you guys, but all where teams are watching around the world.

This would be an awesome experience for us but perhaps not a very realistic one. As of now we're happy doing shows the way we're doing them.

It means a lot to us that some feel that we are interesting enough to even be considered for that kind of opportunity though! ;)

Why we haven't gotten a second game hint =P :D
How about speaking a little about the list of people who are talking at Kickoff?

I'm currently working on the agenda for the show! What would you guys like us to discuss!?

1. Game predictions
2. (a little region bias but) FLR predictions
3. New York, California, Florida, and other Region and/or State Championships in the future?
4. CowScout
5. Will.I.am surprisingly being a great FIRST advocate in the past year
6. Kinect

Also, make sure #FRCKO is being carefully watched. They might not post something pre-kickoff, but you never know. Would be cool to break the story during your show. :ahh:
